Tranche Finance is a platform that allows people to invest in cryptocurrencies and get a return on their investment over time. They not only got a return on the currency they invested but also got a small amount of tokens called $SLICE which had its separate value.
By splitting any interest-generating asset from the Decentralized Finance (DeFi) ecosystem into two new assets; a fixed-rate asset that manages risk, and a variable-rate asset that maximizes returns.
I researched similar platforms, analyzed crypto wallet limitations, and proposed solutions with developers and the product manager.
Tranche's platform encountered problems that placed significant pressure on the community admins and developers.
These issues included:
The lack of a design system leads to inconsistencies across the product, which confuses developers.
A high user drop-off rate.
Users lack trust in the platform, an issue echoed by the community on Discord.
